If your camera is shown as offline, it means the camera is unable to connect to the Wi-Fi, reach the Internet, or reach our servers.
These possibilities are distinguished by what the light at the back of the device shows. Make sure to check the light a couple of minutes after turning on the device to make sure any transient processes are finished.
There are several possibilities when the camera is shown as offline in the app:
Fast blinking green light:
This means the camera is connected to the WiFi but is unable to reach the Internet, or our servers. Make sure you can reach invidyo.com while connected to the same WiFi. You can also try restarting your router.
Fast blinking red light:
This means the camera is unable to the connect to the WiFi with the credentials it knows. Make sure your WiFi name and password haven't changed. If you think the credentials may be out of date you can try reconnecting the device by using the "Change Wireless" option as shown below:
Connecting Your Invidyo to a Different WI-FI Network
It these do not worj you can try restarting your router, as they can sometimes enter a problematic state and cannot accept new devices.
Green light blinking once a second:
This means the camera is in "Setup Mode" and trying to read a new QR code. The camera should say "Setup" when first turned on in this state. You can exit setup mode by creating a new QR code from the app and showing it to the camera.
Steady green light:
If your camera shows as offline even though the light at the back is steady green, please contact support@invidyo.com specifying the issue and the MAC id under your device.
No light at all:
The camera is not getting any power. Make sure the adapter and cable are connected. You can test for adapter or cable issues by connecting another 5V/2A adapter and micro usb cable to the camera and see if it turns on.
